We often feel like skateboarding is something inherently American and it is but let us not forget how early on the Brits discovered it. Skin Phillips is one of those early birds, his name’s a fixture and it has been for the longest time. Adidas recognized this and payed tribute to the man. They showed Skin’s photos during bright and other events, they created this video and to top it of they gave him a shoe. Let us hope that Adidas stays on this root (pun intended) so we as skateboarders can keep celebrating our history.
