We had a talk roughly a year ago with Jacob Ortega. It was a really insightful chat about how you can use visual elements and effects in a skateboard video to show a broader theme. The best thing about that video, called “time kills all things” was that even though you were aware of the theme, the way he put it together worked really well, even if you didn’t know about the idea behind the video at all.

Now, Jacob and the darknightsandvividlights brand are back with an entirely different concept on video making. The Cali-based crew has gone back to the drawing board multiple times and came up with the idea to have you fill out a questionnaire. This means that depending on your answers, you get the version of the video that is best suitable to your liking.

Questions like: “Which brand do you prefer?“, “Do you like Gifted Hater?” and “Do you skate?” all play a part into what type of visuals you end up seeing once you get to the end of the test.

It is safe to say, we love this creative, labor-intensive approach to video making, and we feel very happy about presenting it to you today! Enjoy the video…whichever one you end up seeing 🙂
