Lucas Jankoschek is back! Our favorite Turtle really brings it in this 7-minute, friends-filled, Krimi-vibed, banger of a part. For years, “Luci”, as he is known amongst friends, has been mostly editing his own parts. So, to see him through the lens of Simon Steinbrecher, one of his friends, gives us all a different perspective on the person and skater he has always been. Was it a success, or will things take a Nosedive?

So, what is that perspective we were talking about? Well, as you have seen in TURTLE 3, when Luci is left at the helm of the editing bay, he tends to choose 80s style synthpop bangers. He also loves to section things off into clear-cut parts (in his full-length edits). Simon tried something different; he slowed down the music, and he opened up the “part” to include some friends. Which, in our experience, is much closer to the actual experience when you go skating with Luci. It is not totally up to us to decide what is more accurate, but it is entirely possible that what Mr. Steinbrecher created here is, in fact, the most precise portrait of the skater Lucas Jankoschek to date. Whether that statement holds up in the people’s court, or is it, as Simon titled it, a Nosedive, is up to you, the viewer. First, press play and enjoy!
