Sometimes things change, and some people go through somewhat of a fixation on certain activities. Still, life has a way of balancing out and we believe that might be what Valentin Schmeißer is referring to with this video. For those who got bit by the bug, skateboarding can overtake your mind, but making a video can at times take even more out of you. So to feel like one needs some distance after finishing one makes sense to us. Now, just to be sure we are on the right track, we asked Valentin for some words. Enjoy!

How does one bid farewell to something that has been etched into their heart for fifteen years? Perhaps our relationship is simply evolving, but the love remains steadfast. You have been a constant in my life, unwavering and true. Even though I no longer skate daily, my inner Skate Nerd has grown more passionate than ever. I guess even the most beautiful love stories are meant to be cherished, not confined, but fret not, for I shall return to you!
