Hello and welcome back to the second installment of one of our favorite videos of last year. When we dropped the first ESC.IST video was all about experimenting—Stephan (Pöhlmann) wanted to show a more personal side to his graphic design work, Max (Strauss) was behind the lens, and both just saw where it could go. It wasn’t planned to be a big project, just something different, outside their day jobs, where the crew could explore new ideas and have fun doing it.

Part One came together during a pretty wild time in Istanbul—right in the middle of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic—so a lot of spots were shut down or had tight security. We still made it work, but there were definitely tricks left on the table and places we didn’t get to hit.

So yeah, we’re back. Same city, new energy. Part Two picks up where we left off—with a better rhythm, more experience, and a crew that clicks. No pressure, just more skating, more exploring, and more good times. Oh, and with the addition of Place office favorite Matthias Ellinger, it has all turned out perfectly well.
