We got sent this wonderful video by Cole Walton featuring the skateboarding of pro surfer Jesse Guglielmana who seemed to be able to handle concrete as well as H20. With some guest tricks by Nick Melanson and a co-sign by Andrew Allen, this all comes together really well. We are excited to see more from this crew in the future!

Close to 20Min. that just flew by. Kyle Geldheart just released a video called “driveby” and it’s showcasing the next generation of skaters coming out of California. A video featuring Cyprus Blanco, Curran Stagg, Cruise Mosberg, Smiler & Justice Lora.

We all know that the best Shawarma is to find in Berlin and maybe that’s the reason we got gripped opening Elliot Katz’s mail from a few days ago. After watching this independent skateboard film from Los Angeles we became even more interested and began to answer Elliot’s mail with this sentence:

“Wow! Amazing video. Will post it tomorrow for sure! Thanks a lot and please keep sending us things. Really appreciate it!”

So, the next time you think about sending us a video just find a good title, spend all of your time filming a few years in the streets and release an outstanding independent video project with all of your friends. Simple as that!

Just kidding, keep sending us your stuff to Daniel@place.tv & Roland@place.tv.

Some of you might know Brett from the Pathways video that he filmed, others may know him from his Berlin visit last summer. If you ever get to know Mr. Nichols you will immediately see that he is one of the nicest most motivated people on and of the board. During his Berlin visit he was mostly filming but this footage shows how smooth he is on the board.

The next two days are all about Tolia Titaev. Today we present you with moving images, tomorrow we present you with Tolia’s interview.

This video shows Tolia cruising with friends and having fun but it also has some pretty hard tricks like the Backside Smith grind in Paris. Tolia was a not only a big part of Place issue 55 he is also a big part of why we like Russia. We will continue to follow his path both in the skateboard world and all the other worlds he is a part of.

If you don’t know Julian Klincewicz, Stas Galaktionov and Brian Elliot. They do great work outside of skating you and you should familiarize yourself with their work.
