Genesis Evans as himself in “Genny’s Day Out“. You will find a lot of familiar faces in this one.
To you paying attention to our website this post will come as no surprise at all, we like this video and think it is one of 2016’s best. Maybe not if you only judge the skating but the overall flow, style and music selection (with some hard to find, locally produced tracks.) make this a video to watch more than once. Now finally the full project if out for all to enjoy.
With parts by Yaje Popson, Adam Zhu, Shawn Powers, Genesis Evans, Jason Byoun and with guest appearances by Alex Olson, Jesse Alba, Ishod Wair, Chris Milic and many more of your favorite New Yorks sons or transplants.

Two weeks ago Genesis Evans’ part of the Dany Video was released, now it’s Adam Zhu his turn. Watch this footage of him doing cool tricks in the Big Apple, put together by Emilio Cuilan, who surely knows how to do it.

When Alltimers first came out it felt like something quintessentially New York a.k.a. “a NYC thing.” but things have changed. Today the squad is packed with a bunch of Canucks which isn’t a bad thing by the way. It is kind off like Hip Hop it came from New York but the top artist at the moment is Canadien. Still, that doesn’t change the fact that Hip Hop music and culture will always be from the Bronx! Drake is just doing it best right now.

Not the first and not the last time, Quartersnacks & Nike SB came together for a brand new collection. To celebrate it the right way you will get to see some skating of Daniel Kim, Cyrus Bennett, Max Palmer, Josh Wilson & more. That sounds like a win-win-situation, right?
Slowly but surely more and more parts of the Dany video are coming out. First came Yaje’s part than the extra’s came out and now Shawn Powers had his part drop on the internet. Let us be honest and say what is on a lot of peoples minds, Shawn’s focus seems to have been shifting from skating to making art and that isn’t a bad thing perse. But seems like it is not benefitting his skating all that much, this part still has some great moments though and the last clip especially shows us Powers’s skating at its best. At the same time, there are some questionable single tricks in there and we wonder if Shawn will ever be able to better his Caviar part, it would be nice to see him try.

We have been dedicating some posts to this video, from the teaser to Yaje Popson’s full part and now the extras. All of these have had some real good skating in it set to some sick music. The opening track makes you feel like the guys are skating through Twin Peaks or something. Enjoy the skating and have Shazam ready at all times.

New York produces and puts out video footage at an amazing rate and this is a video that we would like to watch in its entirety.
