The Village Psychic has been and still is one of the best sources of opinionated skate nerd writing. This time they are back with  a new series focussing on skateboarding’s rules as explained by Bobby Puleo.

Of course Puleo is famous for his grumpy old man approach kind of like Joe Budden, are we the only one that thinks that this could be an Everyday Struggle kind of thing? Put the old man together with somebody like Tyshawn Jones and a show is born.

Any way, back on topic, this feature is great and we hope it continues to come out at a steady rate.

“PUSHED – Four Guys Inspired By A Wooden Toy” is a documentary by Florian Schneider. It premiered back in 2011 but is now finally up on the internet. Watch this interesting film and learn about Bobby Puleo, Pontus Alv, Adam Sello and Stefan Marx, and how they are all influenced by skateboarding in their own way.

If skateboarding would own a Hall Of Fame, I am pretty sure skateboardings very own MJ – Marc Johnson – would be one of the first guys that would get the privilege of being included. Undoubted, he has been an idol for an uncountable number of skateboarders out there and influenced the way in which skateboarding developed until today. For those who wonder if there could be something like an MJ’s favorite or someone to whom a legend like him is looking up to – Well, there might be at least one: Bobby Puleo.

“There is skateboarding. Then there’s knowing how to skateboard. Two completely different things. I wish I could skate like this. There is only one Bobby Puleo.” – Marc Johnson
