“Ruben Alles” by Sergio Pontillo

Sergio Pontillo sent us this very entertaining Ruben Luzzatto part the other day and we were instantly amazed by the filming and skating. Here are some of Sergio’s words about the project:

“I met Ruben for the first time in 2019, we skated and filmed together for a week, and he became my favorite skater. In 2020 I moved from Napoli to Torino with the goal of making him a video part because I thought more people could enjoy his skating, and also there wasn’t much footage of him online. The most interesting part for us was looking for new spots in Torino, walking around, and biking a lot. It took us two years, which literally flew by, but we are both happy to have done this and shared all this time together.”

Now in recent history that is starting to change with a group of youngins coming up and it seems like they all have one thing in (besides their heritage) common and that is the art of improvisation.

Vans Spring Classic 2015

Vans lädt am kommenden Wochenende ins wunderschöne Städtchen Riccione an der italienischen Küste ein – der alljährliche Spring Classic Miniramp Contest steht vor der Tür. Und damit nicht genug – neben dem Contest selbst ist für ein stattliches Rahmenprogramm gesorgt: Ein angekoppeltes Streetart Festival, viel Live Musik, sowie das obligatorische “Propeller” Screening runden das Ganze ab. Lasst euch überraschen…

Wer es nicht nach Italien schafft, kann sich das ganze Spektakel hier im Livestream angucken und das sollte sich lohnen – neben zahlreichen Pros aus ganz Europa haben sich unter anderem Julien Stranger, Grant Taylor, Andrew Allen und Peter Hewitt von Anti Hero angekündigt: Skateboarding der Extraklasse ist somit garantiert.

Der Spot “Milano Centrale” vor dem Hauptbahnhof in Mailand ist wahrscheinlich der legendärste Streetspot Italiens. Mit seiner unzähligen Vielfalt an Möglichkeiten erlangte der Platz schnell Berühmtheit, besonders durch viele internationale Videoproduktionen wie z.B. Yeah Right, The DC Video, Hot Chocolote Tour und nicht zuletzt Pretty Sweet. Ein Ort für die Ewigkeit möge man meinen, dem folgende Dokumentation gewidmet ist.
