This one gives us serious Yoan Taillandier early Magenta vibes, with Victor Campillo as an obvious stand-out. Slowly but surely one can say Maceo is really making a name for himself by not only working hard but with the right people. Still, we have a question… How can someone be present as much as Victor and still feel underrated?

The future looks bright! Barcelona, Spain is known as Europe´s skate travel destination number one, and most of the time we see its spots skated by international pros and then sprinkled into various parts and tour edits. Not with this video though. Barcelona´s very own brand Sopa Skateboards just released its latest project called “EL VIDEO” and it´s refreshing to see the next generation of locals skating their own city. We are fans! Paris became really hot just around the same time the Blobys became big and nothing has been the same since. Theo Maes and his crew are the younger guys and it is very interesting to see what they are coming up with. Big fans of the edits and everyone involved – much love! The future is looking pretty bright. A new one out of Paris, France by Sebastian Cao & Theodor Meas showcasing their first HD video.

The film features Jerome Sossou, Cyril Deschamps, Malo Simonet, Abel Leblanc, Simon Souchois, Adrien Caro, Lucas Languasco, Stanley Pradel, Tom Abord, Donatien Simon, Maceo Moreau, Victor Campilo, Kevin Ozcan, Ibrahim Sissoko & Theo and Seb themself. All the animations by Theo.

This video starts with the song: “A Chacun Son Probléme” by Amadou & Mariam, the title translates into “Everyone has their own problems”.

The reason why this makes so much sense is that this video was filmed in Paris’ 93rd district, a place that is known as one of the most dangerous places in Paris.

The project was created by Macéo Moreau & Malo Simonet two people who are from the area itself. And that really shows throughout the project, they skate everything and connect with the people which creates a semi-documentary type of feel which most skaters who search for spots can really relate to.

Another good feature of the project is that the architecture is diverse, it shows both the trash & the treasures that are hidden in these Parisian suburbs.

All in all, this first episode of the project makes us look forward to the second and we hope it features the same crew.

To be honest, it might have been the first time I came across a video of Marseille’s BMG crew, which is a shame considering how much I enjoyed the skating and the rawness of it!

Augustin Giovannons “A.E.I.U.O” just came out with a second part and it shows almost a full part of our columnist Franz Grimm and a lot of good footage from a lot of our good friends. Arguably Augustin’s best work, so far! Berlin, Paris, Copenhagen.

After 15 years Trauma Skateboards from France suffers the same fate as Clichè recently did. But before pulling the plug the team and everybody behind the brand want to say “Au revoir” with this full length, which fittingly goes by the name of “NoWhere”.

You probably have seen the parts of Marca Barbier, Maceo Moreau and Michael Mackrodt on our site already. Now this is the complete full length project about Europe’s three popular metropolises coordinated by our friend Thomas Busuttil. Very worth watching!

Yesterday we posted about Marc-a today we do the same if we are lucky he puts out another clip tomorrow and even though his footage is always nice this part has some of the best footage Mr. Barbier has produced so far. Kudos to Mr. Busutil and the rest of the De Paris staff for making this happen.
