We can praise this series for the cool talking that Mark Gonzales does but this episode stands out for his skating as well.

This has probably been both his best footage recently and at the same time our favorite thing Torsten Frank has made recently as well.

“Lil Wayne, a.k.a Weezy F. Baby please say the baby” has made a triumphant return into the skate world with this part by Thames’s own Sam Sitayeb. We don’t know if Sam or the filmer/editor Austin Bristow came up with the song choice but we thank you for it.

We really have to put some respect on Bronze’s name for choosing such a strong concept for a company both visually and spiritually is taking a big risk.

But even with a million people biting their shit, they always seem to keep their output fresh!

Blondey and Shawn Powers really put forward their best and we are hyped to go skating right after the last second, which is really the only true measurement of a good skate video.

Enjoy!

Besides the tour stops in London and in Paris the adidas Skateboarding squad have also went to Berlin. A few of you probably remember the video we posted of Magnus Bordewick skating up the stairs at Frankfurter Tor. Well, the SW Flip was missing but here you have it. Another highlight is the few street skate sections inbetween the demos.

“In feeling blue, tragically, the natural thing to do is stay blue. The creating of these new works has proven to me, more than ever before, that expressionism and making artwork is a way of temporarily exorcising that feeling. The show was created out of a compulsion to create, not one to show off, throw a party or make money. It’s making has been a revelation in accepting the need to treat bipolar as a blessing rather than a curse, and to perpetually guarantee myself that from long hum drum periods of heightened sensitivity, my most genuine and life affirming artwork is born.”

Adidas went all out for this one, almost the whole team came to the city of angels to skate and hang out. But even though all the heavy hitters were there it was the new addition to the team Magnus Bordewick who outshined everybody with his pop and non-conventional style. Norway keeps on giving us new and interesting skaters.

Skateboarding in one of the most electrified metropolises in the world with a squad of skaters that is also world class can only give you the best. This is a high quality production.

Featuring: Blondey McCoy, Daewon Song, Gustav Tønnesen, Mark Suciu, Rodrigo Teixeira, Alec Majerus, Benny Fairfax, Marc Johnson, Na-kel Smith, Kevin Lowry, Günes Özdogan & Lucas Puig.

Reebok seems to be teasing the skate scene at the moment. There was the failed entry via DGK which we felt was cool but as Stevie Williams put it maybe a bit too early.

Afterwards, the brand left skateboarding for a bit, skateboarders weren’t really wearing the shoes, that all changed when they did their first collab with Palace, which made us want to try some shoes on and it made people think that Reebok might move back into skating. For a moment there Blondey McCoy was ripping in them but after his move to the three stripes, things died down again.

The third coming started with Shawn Powers and continues with collabos like these and to be honest we hope it stays the way it is now because sometimes things don’t need to be crystal clear they can remain in the mist and still work.

This is a office favorite! Chewy Cannon, Benny Fairfax & Blondey McCoy in “Away Days”. Not only the Lucien Clarke cameo is a highlight but also the three clearly different styles mixed together; maybe it’s a Palace thing:
