Like after the last Sour Solution II when we got “sick but suck” we get “SUCKSESS” after Sour Solution III. And what we get is quite nice, some more Huhta, Isaksson, Berggren & Candon. Do we need more to start this autumn season off right? We don’t think so.
James Cruickshank not only moved to Paris a few years ago but also managed to completely integrate in the parisian skateboarding community. A brilliant edit by brilliant guy featuring a lot of your favorite skaters. Definitely a must watch!
Vincent Touzery, Roman Gonzalez, Caleb Barnett, Hjalte Hallberg, Julien Kimura, Augustin Giovanonni, Tom O’Reilly, Auguste Bouznad, Jamie Platt, Paul Grund, Jun Kummer, Casper Brooker, Joffrey Morel, Gregoire Cuadrado, Ville Wester, Victor Demonte & many many more.
Vans Skateboarding just released a new European-based video called “Much Quiet” via our friends over at Free and we highly recommend you to watch it. The almost thirty(!) minutes long edit is definitely worth the watch. Sirus F. Gahan did an amazing job filming and editing this one! We were especially hyped about the Helena Long opener part. She has an interview about the video HERE.
Yoan Taillandier is back with a third episode of the series. Great start into a new week!
Featuring Glen Fox, Olivier “Boucle” Durou, PJ Chapuis, Mika Germon, Oscar Candon, Arnaud Henriot, Benji Russel, Hugo Corbin, JT Saldou, Alex Raeymaekers, Francois “Pako” Pion, Pierre Leze, Amelien Foures, Futoshi Tokuyama, Gauthier Rouger & more.
Gotta love the Vans Europe team for their ability to go for it in any and every situation or spot. We don’t want to spoil the trick but we were really stoked to see Dustin Dollin with a great ender trick in this!
On a side note Pfanner is like a very fine wine isn’t he.
Viva Las Vegas! That is what the French Vans team must have thought when they got the word that they would be flying to the city the Mob built.
Anyway, no foul play here. Sam Partaix, Lilian Fev, Mikael Germond, Oscar Candon, Romain Batard, and the other did their work and put the trip together into a work of perfection.
This is the big one from Vans’ European division. So sit down crack a brewski and enjoy!
The Parisian brand Futur drops one of their nicest edits to date featuring a very dope song by Mr. Barrington Levy.
Enjoy Oscar Candon & Karl Salah together with some guests by pressing the play button on your screen.
Wet and slippery, that is the way we would like to describe these “files” to you.
Leftovers or today meal? Sour comes out with their next video right after their last.

Louis is very busy lately from Tonic to his own works he is putting out gems as a young filmer is supposed to. Enjoy this video and prepare because we heard some whispers and more might be coming soon.
It must be nice for a filmer to film a small team with such major talent and style. But above all the team really gets along and as such the general vibe of this video is pleasant, to say the least.
Juan Saavedra, Santiago Sasson, Karl Salah and Oscar Candon.
At first when I started the Giddy series I wanted every one of them to have a different theme but in the end, I think they all end up looking almost similar to one another, same style of music same vibe.
Romain Batard is back with one of the most interesting video series in skateboarding. And ever since he delivered that quote in our interview with him he has been steadily delivering Giddy’s with a stronger sense of concept and individuality.
Steve Malet kills it in number 8! He is one of Paris’ most exciting skaters out there right now even though he is not even originally from France. But Steve is only one reason and this Giddy truly delivers from the skating, the editing, the song choice and the special effects. It is a good rounded out piece of work!
We are big fans of Oscar Candon and Futur. This is good and so is everything that Futur puts out.
Gangs signs, checks, fist pumps, devil horns and much more in this amazing Giddy with a strong concept that managed to consistently surprise us!
Oscar Candon spent one day filming a short clip for his new Supra colorway. And who could’ve followed his brisk lines better than well-known VX-filmmaker Romain Batard? A damn dream team.
After I have been absent for almost a year, I am more than happy to take up my work again at my beloved Placemag. And to start things off by posting a clip of my treasured friend Romain Batard is more than I could have asked for. As it is with every Batard-edit, Giddy #6 provides playful skateboarding at its best, where Romain makes even the smallest tricks look great through his classic Century MK1.
Featuring Rémy Taveira, Felipe Bartolome, Oscar Candon, Joseph Biais, Roger Gonzalez, Mickaël Germond, Alastair Pathé, Charles Giron, Edouard Depaz, Denis Lynn, Morgan Katomba, Lilian Fev, Roland Hoogwater, Danny Sommerfeld, Martino Cattaneo, Guillaume Colucci, Masaki Ui, Tom O’Reilly, Igor Fardin, Casey Brown, and Conor Charleson.
Special greetings go out to you Romain & Edouard. Hope to see you guys soon. Yours, Placemagpaule.
