A really nice flowing video by the people over at Butter goods, who as far as our taste go make some really nice, diverse stuff. From the video to the clothing it works together well, which can be a hard thing to do.
Last spring we worked on a project for Nike SB it was for the “58 Blazer” a shoe made by skate shop employees for skate shops. During that project, we met Charlie O’Donnell who works at Manchester’s best shop NOTE, a proud store supporting Blueprint era legends and the northern scene.
If you are not into history or music then you might not know much about Manchester but it is safe to say that when you are not talking football there you are talking music! In that sense, the north reigns supreme and with this project, we might have to start putting skateboard videos in the mix.
Tony Wilson said it best:
“This is Manchester, we do things differently here.”

Ben Gore found a “thing”, a thing that was probably always around in SF. The scooter makes for a nice natural little element, an element that you could find in your own city. But you could also find your own, if you live in Berlin you could go skate all the mattresses that were put out on the street and if you live in New York you could skate some broken furniture, some already do though but in this part Ben and Zach took that “thing” to a new level.

So ein Winter in New York City kann sehr dunkel und kalt sein und genau so war er bislang auch. Neben einigen New Yorkern haben sich Ben Gore, Jimmy Lannon, Dane Brady, Kevin Coakley und viele mehr, auf den Weg gen Süden gemacht und dabei herausgekommen ist ein sonniger Urlaubsgruß aus Florida in Form eines Videos.
Wir haben in letzter Zeit auffällig viel San Francisco Footage auf unserer Seite, kam doch jüngst ein Statement eines bekannten New Yorkers, welches den Untergang des Westküsten Looks prophezeite. Dem ist wohl nicht so!? Soy Panday und Ben Gore stimmen schon einmal dagegen.
Die wohl angesagteste Serie des letzten Jahres GX1000 im Raw Cut. Brian Delatorre, Al Davis, Jake Johnson uvm. in Barcelona, London, SF und einigen anderen Metropolen. Das Thrasher Magazine fügt hinzu: “No music, no filler, just four wheels on the concrete. Skateboarding IS a crime.” Schön gesagt.
Stolz dürfen wir präsentieren: Josh Stewarts Static IV, mit freundlicher unterstützung von MDCN Distribution und The Black Lodge. Sieben Jahre hat es gedauert, um die legendäre Eastcoast Serie fortzusetzen. Zwei Stunden Skateboarding mit unter anderem: Aaron Herrington, Quim Cardona, Jake Johnson, Yonnie Cruz, Vivien Feil, Ben Gore, Jimmy Lannon, Kevin Tierney, Steve Brandi, Jahmal Willams und vielen, vielen mehr. Also kommt alle am Dienstag um 21:00 Uhr vorbei, wir freuen uns auf euch.
Magenta Skateboards und das Modelabel Caste in einer Dokumentaion über Magentas Geschichte, Sichtweisen und dessen Einstellung, an Schauplätzen wie Paris, Bordeaux und SF. Vor der Kamera zu sehen sind unter anderem: Soy Panday, Leo Valls, Jimmy Lannon und viele mehr. Passend zur Dokumentation gibt es eine Kappe und ein Hemd, designt von Caste Mastermind Chris Fireoved. Desweiteren wird es im Juli ein Kollabo-Board der beiden Brands geben.
Die Jungs von GX1000 inklusive Alex Davis, Brian Delatorre uvm. bedienen sich an den stehenden Autos und abgestellten Anhängern in San Francscio und Umgebung. Ein ausführlicher SF Bericht kommt übrigens in der nächsten Ausgabe Place #46, Anhänger und Motorräder einbegriffen!
Schwarz-Weiß, bei Nacht, San Francisco und Jazz Musik sind die Schlüsselbegriffe um den neusten Ben Gore Part richtig zu beschreiben. Dazu kommt Flow, Style und Pop. Fertig wäre das Rezept für den perfekten Part in 2014.
Die GX1000 Bande hat mal wieder San Francisco unsicher gemacht und zeigt in diesem Edit erneut, wer die Stadt regiert. Es gibt wenige Städte, vor allem in den vereinigten Staaten, in der die VX einen höheren Stellenwert hat als neumodische HD Formate. Mit von der Partie sind Jake Johnson, Ben Gore, Al Davis, Brian Delatorre uvm. Anschauen ist Pflicht – First Try Wallie Bluntslide an der Clipper!?

Tony Manfre skatet durch die Straßen San Franciscos und kommt dabei an einigen bekannten Spots vorbei. Neben dem Sightseeing zeigt er auch seine persönlichen Hotspots und wurde dabei von unter anderem Ben Gore begleitet.
