The skatedeluxe team went to one of the two former capital cities of the Habsburg empire. A place where we feel communist styles, contemporary and former imperial styles all come together in one city. All in all, these two cities Buda & Pest on the shores of the Danube prove to be a great backdrop for this wonderful video by Dan Schulz.

Skatedeluxe released a new video filmed on Gran Canaria featuring Adilson Pedro, Pol Catena, Kevin Ozcan, Martin Sandberg & Willow Voges Fernandes. The variety of spots on this island is still crazy every time we see a clip from there. Enjoy!

Tour edits are extremely rare these days. Never thought we would miss sitting in an airport, looking around the overcrowded gate while waiting for a delayed flight. Skatedeluxe went to Athens and took Manny Lopez, Matt Debauche, Ike Fromme, Denny Pham, Martin Sandberg & Willow Voges Fernandes with them.

Sean Christiansen has been working hard for a minute now. From Green to Äckligt he has steadily been one-upping himself.

Of course, some of his homeys have now become household names but the video shows that the bond is strong between these people and Stockholm as a whole seems like a pretty tight scene.

One last thing, it is not easy to change your style from video to video but with this one, we do see Sean attempting to engage in new styles to grow and that is lovely to see.

To many of us, the Italian island of Sicily is the home of La Cosa Nostra but it is also the gateway to Africa or the first step to a new life in Europe.

Once a part of Tunisia, Sicily has a special place within the shoe-shaped country and you will see that once you click play and you see the spots, the scenery and the Skatedeluxe team crushing it.

Stockholm is putting it down! After a long period of relative silence both this new video by William Engström and last weeks video called Green show the Swedish capital city to be a great skateboard destination with a healthy skate scene.

We are sure that we will see more from a couple of these kids this year.

I personally neither know the crew nor have I ever been to Stockholm, but this video makes me want move there and join them. A very solid independent skate video that has the right balance between adolescent crew life and grown up skateboarding.

Most of these images could have made it into our current issue, that is a fact. It takes a certain idea, a vibe, a setting and the right people to make a good article. It also strongly depends on the taste of the person working on a specific article direction. Person “A” might like a bit more Heitor Da Silva (who wouldn’t?), Person “B” might prefer some more grandpa’s (elderly Spanish people have the best style!) or simply a second Budgetbeuker portrait (he is a pretty one isn’t he?). Since we have other articles and a limited number of pages, we don’t want to have to leave some stuff on the drawing board just to watch them expire.

Welcome to Barcelona and welcome to our house. It’s a simple house but it has a room that’s all your own. It has a shower, a TV set, a kitchen with pots and pans and most importantly, it has “us”– other people in it. Now I don’t know if you…. the person reading this, are still living with your parents or if you recently bought your first house, but I do know that all of the above and in between know the feeling of coming into a new place. A house filled with people you don’t really know. If you’re lucky, there might be some facial recognition here and there. Upon entry, you shake hands, state your name, try to remember theirs and ask for the Wi-Fi password. You do all of this with the goal of dropping your bags and getting to your room so you can lie down for a minute and process everything. Now for some of you, the alarm bells might have started ringing. You know the feeling, you know the drill, but if for some reason you can’t remember the feeling, let me help you refresh your memory. It is the same feeling you get when you go to summer camp.
