Magnus Bordewick – “1Dah” Part
Magnus and Shimmy are like Bonnie and Clyde, Water and Wine, or Jay Z and Beyoncé. You get the drift, this is a well-made project by good people.
YIHA by Martin Stuve Strøm
A new video from Oslo by Martin Stuve Strom. The North never disappoints.
Feat.: Øyvind Svensen, Sivert Øveraas, Alek Oestreng, Jens Ugland, Kevin Bækkel, Martin Dammen, Marcus Shaw, Gard Hvaara, Magnus Bordewick, Jacob Elveli, Jared Cleland, Gabriel Bjørsvik, Vi Duc Truong & Ruben Soon.
Numbers – Tony Mag
That Pop Shove It 50-50 by Magnus Bordewick is all you need to convince you to press play!
Marcus Shaw – Teater Plaza
Our friend Marcus Shaw together with Magnus Bordewick and Jacob Elveli spent a lot of time at the Teater between the months of June and October.
So much so that a 10-minute video was produced, a very high grade 10 minutes to be exact. Somehow Scandinavia keeps a steady flow of content coming our way, even when winter greats them earlier than some of the other European countries!
Oh Là Là Paname – adidas in Paris
adidas’s big series of events in Paris also brought us a new video feat.: Lucas Puig, Heitor Da Silva, Magnus Bordewick, Kaio and a lot of others. Another video by Torsten Frank, who is really putting in work. Good Job!
Selva De Pedra /// São Paulo
The extension edit from the Das Days in São Paulo with a good squad, extra credit must be given to Klaus Bohms for that extraordinary tailslide.
Das Days /// São Paulo
For those of us that follow Heitor Da Silva, it was a wonderful thing to see him go back to Brasil!
Not only did he go on tour with the /// team but he went with some legends from the largest Portuguese speaking nation.
Felipe and Rodrigo TX where shoulder to shoulder with the kid and that must feel nice- it must feel like coming home! Norway and Brasil birthed a brilliant combination on a skateboard.
adidas Skateboarding X NUMBERS edition
We met the guys while we were out in Los Angeles working on our current issue. Magnus was trying that switch frontside wallride and drove straight into me after the landing, “Yooo, what’s up guys?”.
We talked for a bit and they told us they were looking for greyish spots only, “Wrong city!” is what we told them but after seeing the results it turns out they were right and we were tripping. Enjoy this new Colin Kennedy piece!
adidas – Hawaiian Holiday
It seems like everyone is going to Hawaii lately. The perfect holiday island has turned into a heavily favoured skate destination. A coincidence, maybe, it seems like the /// team did not take any chill time and went all in.
Watch:
Lil Dre, Donta Hill, Dennis Busenitz, Daewon Song, Magnus Bordewick, Nora Vasconcellos, Mark Gonzales and Alec Majerus rip through the island of their dreams.
adidas Skateboarding – Magnus Bordewick
Magnus and Chris Mulhern did everything right during the making of this part.
They picked a great song, showed both Magnus and his friends and managed to blend all types of different locations into one coherent part.
Hats of to all people involved this is one of the best parts of 2018 and a little tip: keep watching during the credits.
Magnus Bordewick for Numbers Edition
Numbers Edition 4 featuring Magnus Bordewick with quite a few tricks from his interview in Issue 62. How can you not like his way of skating? Love you, Magnus!
Place Presents – SHIMMY feat. Magnus Bordewick
Our interest in someone always starts with skating but it doesn’t end there. Rapper N.O.R.E. said it best: for the first two years your skills will carry you but after that, you need to be able to give a good interview. We see a lot of parallels between skating and music, so when Magnus Bordewick temporarily moved to Berlin this summer I invited him to our office to talk.
So, we talked skating, his possible departure from Oslo, the value of a good photographer (@Biemer: Magnus wants me to give you some props here!) and a lot more. But we didn’t touch on his love for dogs that much. So when I finally called him up to talk, I proposed the idea of doing an interview about his dog; his love of and knowledge about dogs. He answered: “Yo I’m super down for that. Let’s do it!”
Read the whole interview in our new issue! You can get it HERE and in every finer skateshop in Europe.

adidas Skateboarding in Japan – ROZU
adidas Skateboarding’s latest film introduces the team’s latest talent, Diego Najera. Directly inspired by “bloom of the Sakura;” the tones and hues of the film come courtesy of a special heat-sensing camera.
Feat.: Alec Majerus, Dennis Busenitz, Jack Fardell, Lucas Puig, Magnus Bordewick, Mark Suciu, Miles Silvas, Nestor Judkins, Nora Vasconcellos, Rodrigo Teixeira, Silas Baxter-Neal, Jake Donnelly, Chewy Cannon, Dennis Durrant, Gustav Tonnesen, Daewon Song, Klaus Bohms, Pete Eldridge, Tom Snape, Hiroki Muraoka, Brandon Nguyen, Shin Sanbongi and as mentioned above Diego Najera.
Place Presents “Dit is Berlin” Episode 02/03
Last week we launched our new “Dit is Berlin” series which started off with Philip Oehimige and Eric Erhardt. Both managed to set a strong precedent with their episode.
Today it is time for the second episode featuring two of Norway’s finest: Magnus Bordewick and Marcus Shaw who both hail from Oslo. The latter willfully started a line with pushing switch mongo and then at the end of the line reverting to regular switch push. Some pretty OG Guy Mariano type of stuff, who happens now to be on the same team as Magnus.
Pol Catena and Niels Bennett hold their own and pull out some pretty tech moves. At times Niels is like a young Mark Suciu – in our book a major compliment! Another fun fact about Niels is that he talks German fluently. Finally, somebody’s mixed American /// German heritage paid off. Trust us it made his life considerably easier during his time in Germany’s capital.
Next week on Wednesday we will be dropping the final episode of “Dit is Berlin” for you. Featuring the likes of Valle Rosomako, Tjark Thielker, Daniel Ledermann and many others.
We would like to thank adidas skateboarding for the support now go watch the newest episode of “Dit is Berlin”!
Adidas Skate Copa Highlights
Besides the tour stops in London and in Paris the adidas Skateboarding squad have also went to Berlin. A few of you probably remember the video we posted of Magnus Bordewick skating up the stairs at Frankfurter Tor. Well, the SW Flip was missing but here you have it. Another highlight is the few street skate sections inbetween the demos.
adidas Skateboarding – Mid-City Merge
Adidas went all out for this one, almost the whole team came to the city of angels to skate and hang out. But even though all the heavy hitters were there it was the new addition to the team Magnus Bordewick who outshined everybody with his pop and non-conventional style. Norway keeps on giving us new and interesting skaters.
Magnus & Kyron on Numbers Edition
Numbers Edition is coming with their second drop and also announces two new European team riders. Magnus Bordewick & Kyron Davis did something right in the last few month.
TIGERSTADEN – Full Video
Our friend Pekka just released his 2016 full length Tigerstaden, not only is the filming and editing on point but this video features some truly amazing young talent that is the future of European skateboarding and trust us when we say the future is now.
