The third installment leading up to the release of the new Adidas tomorrow in LA. This one is mostly about the international vibe of the team but since we already spoke on that lets just say that it is about Chewy Cannon. Chewy is one of the best! Why? Because he can do an ollie on flat ground in a line and still have it look better than your nollie tre flip, in addition to that he skates fast and on the nicest terrain. So yeah Chewy’s part is probably going to be one of the best in the video.

It is not by chance that international hype around the Paris based clothing brand Hélas is constantly growing, if they keep their mixtapes shine like this! Lucas Puig and his GUCCIT retinue are ripping the shit out of Paris and Barcelona! Click clack boom!

Adidas – Far & Away
Adidas presents us with episode 1 of the Far & Away series. This series provides us with some small previews of what we can expect from the video, at the same time we still don’t fully know what to expect from the Adidas crew. All in all this episode is a good little teaser to get you excited to see the video.
Behind the Scenes at Hélas
As we have been to Paris for the launch party of our recent Paris Paname Issue at Chez Justin a couple weeks ago I got introduced by Thomas Busuttil to Clem Brunel, who is next to Lucas Puig and Stéphen Khou one of the three main guys behind the French fashion brand that is associated with the infamous umbrella symbol, Hélas.
Actually, I wanted to ask Clem if there would be a chance to buy some caps from him before I would had to head back home to Berlin because they currently are still rarely sold over here. Clem kindly invited me and my peeps to meet him at his office to be in a more quiet atmosphere to talk and to have some coffee, as well.
The Hélas office is located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. On the outside it has some beautiful old wooden framed glass windows were some caps and cloths are shown. Behind the window is a sort of tiny showroom followed by a narrow corridor that leads into a second larger room that serves as storage space.
Clem friendly received us with the before promised cups of coffee and after we had sat down around a table in the middle of the stockroom we naturally began to talk about the developments of the company, for example the switch from making caps only to producing a broader range of cloths, and also we talked about the upcoming projects and collections.
As it turned out, we happened to be there just shortly before the new collection was going to arrive and the office would have turned into a full packed space where one is barely able to walk through. He also told us that they are currently working on a new Hélas video project that they want to drop very soon.
At the end, Clem provided everyone of us with some fresh head covering and we fixed to meet again in Berlin for the Bright Tradeshow. Thanks for having us, Clem!

Cliché – Cold Cash Dalavas
Lucas Puig’s local DIY called “DALAVAS” needed some improvement and restoration. So Cliché helped him and his friends out with some cold cash. Traditionally, Flo Mirtain, JB Gillet and Lucas Puig tested the proper functioning by themselves and seem to be more than satisfied with their work.
adidas Skateboarding Away Days Trailer
Adidas Skateboarding presents the official trailer for their first full length film, which will premiere in the month of May 2016 and features only top-class skateboarders like Dennis Busenitz, Salias Baxter-Neal, Lucas Puig, Mark Gonzales, Mark Suciu, Nestor Judkins, Benny Fairfax, Rodrigo TX, Lem Villemin, Pete Eldrige, Jack Fardell, Jake Donnelly, Miles Silvas, Alec Majerus, Na-Kel Smith and Tyshawn Jones. As that already sounds almost too good to be true, the trailer is also insane!
Adidas launches the Matchcourt
Adidas has joined the rubber toe cap bandwagon but somehow they managed to do it in their own inimitable way. The team is skating the shoe a lot, Puig’s insta feed has been full of clips of him skating this shoe and it is our opinion that if the team is skating a shoe it means that the shoe is good.

Cliché – Gypsy Life Trailer
Ich habe es getan – ich habe mir nach langer Zeit mal wieder ein Skateboardvideo bei iTunes vorbestellt. Gefilmt wurde in Frankreich, Barcelona, England und Shanghai – und wie!

#3Stripes Germany Tour – Pt.2
Der zweite Teil der adidas #3Stripes Germany Tour feat. Lem Villemin, Lucas Puig und Dennis Busenitz unterwegs in Hamburg, Köln, Stuttgart und München. Den ersten Teil mit Na-kel Smith, Tyshawn Jones und Dennis Durrant gibt es hier zu sehen.
Über Dennis Busenitz als Skateboarder zu sprechen, ist, als würde man über die Heimspiele des FC Bayern in der vergangenen Saison berichten. Besonders wenn es auf die Schauplätze der verschiedenen Demos, wie z.B. am Kölner Kap oder dem brandneuen Skatepark an Münchens Theresienwiese ging. „Sobald Dennis einmal durch den Skatepark an der Theresienwiese durchpusht, nimmt er direkt fünf Banger in einer Line mit, dazu noch mit übelst viel Speed und superstylisch! Ja, sein Skaten bringt einfach jeden zum Staunen und auch auf der Straße ist er überall einfach rumgeskatet und hat stets eine kreative Line gefunden.“ – so Burny.
Lucas Puig war gewohnt chillig unterwegs, morgens hat er sich immer mit Kaffee und Zigarette entspannt, außerdem hat er die ganze Zeit mit seinem guten Freund Lem abgehangen, die beiden Cliché-Teamkollegen sind auf Tour schon immer ein Herz und eine Seele. Lucas ist Vollprofi und weiß genau, was er kann und was er machen will. Er probiert stets das Bestmögliche und z.B. bei dem Wheelie-Trick in Hamburg poppt er den Switch FS Shovit so hoch, dass es keine weiteren Fragen gibt. Eigentlich war es sehr windig und Lucas hat ein paar Versuche gebraucht, doch er hat einfach die Erfahrung, seinen Trick im richtigen Moment zu schaffen. Ob eine norddeutsche Windböe seinem Board so viel Aufschwung verpasst hat, bleibt allerdings ungeklärt…
