Let’s start at the end and work our way to the start. Young Rowan is turning pro and rightfully so! He has been ripping quite hard for quite some time now and if he is able to bring back that late nineties Slash hat Vans needs to give him a shoe! The rest of the team is edited together in a montage. some have more some have less footage but most of them come through. Most notably Dustin Dollin who has been skating like he is a danger to his own health, comes through with a Boulala-escque power move! All in all the Baker promo does what it promises and it does it all to a soundtrack that goes well with your morning coffee and that is a very good thing.

Devine Calloway – untitled unreleased
Actually, Devine Calloway would deserve a picture of himself next to the word “easiness” in every customary lexicon. Unfortunately, some years ago Devine suddenly left the spot light for a while. But since lately, we can witness a comeback of the style chief. Recently he also turned pro on Primitive Skateboards. The footage for this great full part was filmed almost a decade ago, but that does not mean that these clips should fall by the wayside because – let’s be honest – Devine’s footage never gets old!
Michael Sommer – VX Part
Norway’s Michael Sommer is in line with the trend filming a full part with plainly the relict of bygone times, the Sony VX 1000. The beautiful look of the VX combined with Michael’s excellent style result in a great clip everyone should watch. Filmed and edited by Pekka Løvås.
Justin Drysen – Feel/Kill
Whether or not the name Justin Drysen is new to you, this part composed of ten minutes of high-class footage accompanied by three part songs will nothing but amaze you. This young gun is ripping!
Jordan Sanchez – The Dumpster Part
Next time when you complain about the condition of a spot you should remember Jordan Sanchez filmed a whole part skating nothing but the dumpsters behind his local supermarket. Leaving aside the fact that he took some heavy bails on rough ground, Jordan and his friends seemed to have a lot fun doing this clip.
Josiah Gatlyn – Goodbye
Many of you will remember Josiah Gatlyn who was told to be the next big name in skateboard business. But suddenly, he left as quickly as he appeared. In a comment he explained that he had to quit his career to have chances on a solid future. Now, this officially is his last part we will ever see from him and with which he says “goodbye” to the skateboard world.

Eric Living Legend Koston is unstoppable. Even with 40 years of age he is dropping full parts like a young gun. His appearance in Nike SB Chronicles Vol. 3 shows ones again that for some lucky ones age is just a number and we truly believe that this is far away from being Koston’s last part of his eternal career. Legendary.
Tristan Funkhouser – Substance Second Part
Tristan Funkhouser surprises with a second Part in the currently released Substance video. Next to his first part in the video he also already had a full part for Baker two weeks ago. So it is not just that Tristan released three full parts in just one month, moreover each one of them is provided with incredible skateboarding and Tristan does not seem to slow down.
Samu Karvonen – “Into the Van” Full Part
Samu Karvonen has been around for quite some time already. For those who do not know, Samu is from Helsinki, Finnland and in addition to his closeness to nature he has a certain fondness for unique spots.
Happy Birthday Sebi Vellrath
Our love for Mr. Vellrath started right here in the Place office. If you have ever had the pleasure to meet Sebastian you know that he is an upbeat type of guy who has a deep love for skateboarding. When he walked in the office this morning we all congratulated him with his 7th 30 something birthday. As he walked up the stairs he told us “If Florentin Marfaing can still drop parts past his 30th so can I”. Well 2016 will be a better year, if Sebi makes good on that promise! But until that happens we still have all these blasts from the past.

Regarding his effortless style and bag of tricks in mind, it’s no surprise that adidas Skateboarding is giving Mark Suciu his first signature shoe. Mark filmed this full part in Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington D.C. to celebrate and it’s definetly worth watching – pure style!
