Some good stuff in here some weird stuff too, but mostly Shawn is a young black man doing his thing!

Eat Like A Local with Jordan Trahan
Here we have an episode of “Eat Like a Local” with 5 Boro professional skateboarder Jordan Trahan. For a day Jordan is showing us around his favorite haunts in the Lower East Side. There is also a little skating here and there:
QUARTERSNACKS BEST OF 2016
Best of Quartersnacks 2016 and the weekend is just about to begin. All the guys that you want to see:
Alltimers – “My Alltimers”
When Alltimers first came out it felt like something quintessentially New York a.k.a. “a NYC thing.” but things have changed. Today the squad is packed with a bunch of Canucks which isn’t a bad thing by the way. It is kind off like Hip Hop it came from New York but the top artist at the moment is Canadien. Still, that doesn’t change the fact that Hip Hop music and culture will always be from the Bronx! Drake is just doing it best right now.
Featuring Dustin Henry, Conor Prunty, Charles Rivard, Will Marshall, Ben Blundell, Adrian Vega, Adam Zhu, Gabe Hazell and Etienne Gagne
Simon & Manch in NYC
I wonder how it feels to get ‘highfived’ by Rick Howard. Simon Bannerot & Tyler ‘Manchild’ Pacheco are scouted very well, to say the least. Here is their very first Lakai section filmed in NYC:
Hotel Blue
One of the nicest things about the current state of the skateboard industry is that there are a lot of new companies with fresh ideas popping up and right of the bat Hotel Blue seems to be carving a lane for itself with this video. We feel that new companies tend to work out best when the person running the show has an opinion of his own and since this company is run by the same person that created LurkNYC we are sure the company will have a strong direction. All in all, we like the vibe, the team, the skating, and this clip, and if you do too, you should familiarize yourself with Hotel Blue.
Featuring Giovanni Vacca, Adam Becerra, Mark Poole, Dylan Fulford, and Will Blakley.
Yaje Popson’s “Dany” Part
Everything about this part is eclectic, the combination of minimal electronic music and Dean Blunt, Yaje’s skating and most of all Yaje’s outfits. All in all, a very solid part that will have you considering buying some orange pants.
HUF NYC
If you have been paying attention you might have noticed that HUF just opened a new store in NYC and in honour of that store the team went out and got some really nice footage. On top of that Austyn’s Transworld cover trick is featured in this edit.
Featuring: Brad Cromer, Jake Anderson, Austyn Gillette, Matt Gottwig, Dick Rizzo and special guest Brendan Carroll.
Grand Collection – Naomi
Wade Desarmo and his companions produced a rad edit straight from the streets of NYC. Bang!
HD21 BY JOHNNY WILSON
We haven’t seen a Johnny Wilson video in some time and that is slightly unusual for the most productive crew in NY, sure Johnny has been in Paris working on Supreme stuff but in the end that is Bill’s thing. So it is good to see Johnny and company back on our computers screens with the 21st installment of his HD series. Enjoy!

Stussy – Jesse Alba
Stussy is back! It was never really gone but you know what we mean right? They added Kevin Terpening, had Antosh Cimoszko shoot some photos for their mag and just now they put out this Jalba clip need we say more?
TWS Video Check Out – John Shanahan
Vintage clothing, a Styles P song, classic tricks and a Josh Kalis co-sign that is enough to convince us this kid is on to something.
Huf in New York – “nah ni farm p”
Brad Cromer has been videotaping skateboarding for some time now and to be honest he is getting really good, the other noteworthy thing in this short video is the Austyn Gillette clip. We have not seen anything from Mr. Gillette in a while – there where rumors about him being injured – so to finally see him back on the board is certainly a good thing.
Dave Caddo – Peoples temple
Dave Caddo has been around the block a couple off times. Starting back in the early 2000’s he popped up in many of our favorite videos. Dave has always been a skater with quick feet, a limber style and an eye for spots, we did not always like his style but only a fool would argue against his abilities. This 2015-16 version of Dave shows him in tip top shape still skating like a yoga teacher.

Eastern Exposure 3 – Underachievers
Dan Wolfe just did skateboarding a huge favor, he uploaded all of the parts in EE3 (1996) in 60p. Back in the day this video put a spotlight on the east coast and changed the way people skated. Eastern Exposure might even be the reason why Bill Strobeck edited big chunks of Cherry in black and white. And to this day EE3 is a classic with some truly great skating in it.
Lurknyc – New York Times V.15
Lurk NYC is back with volume 15 of his New York Times series. This one is reminiscent of the nineties, think of Brian Wenning, Anthony Pappalardo, the first Supreme video and the best Quartersnacks remix ever! So if you have an affinity for that time you are going enjoy this video.
JP Blair – 4myset
If you don’t know about JP Blair you ought to! He has been responsible for some of the best videos out of NYC. 4myset is his newest offering featuring some of New York’s finest like Dick Rizzo, Josh Wilson, Mark Humienik, Chachi and many more.

Huf Introduces Three New Ams
Huf just introduced three new ams: Matt Gottwig, Dick Rizzo and Jake Anderson. All three of these guys have been waving the Huf flag for a long time. Finally they got the nod and it is easy to see why.
Clubgear In New York/Spots
I don’t think I have to tell you about Canada’s recent rise in coolness… Everything Canadian seems to be poppin – from Drake to Dime MTL. I believe we can now add Clubgear (Clothing) to that list of cool things coming out of that country north of the US.
The current style of dress seems to be on the verge of changing. I mean, at least some of us look like the skaters in this clip, but I can imagine that the next generation might be fed up with the current mischmasch of Dickie’s and tech gear – the circle of trends… You know!
Here are the latest clips from Clubgear – enjoy!
